Game on, homegirl! ๐น
First of all, sorry for the long delay.. I don't really have an excuse for why this update took so long.. It's not like it took a lot of work.. most of it was already done from older game projects I've done, I just had to port it and test it.. I just became distracted by stupid stuff.. mostly youtube and how nice my couch was to take a nap on.. Depression sucks, guys.. I do not recommend getting one..
Anyways... Homegirl Pro now has a game engine! ๐น๐ฎ
This is not the first game engine I've made.. In fact this is more or less a direct port of JavaScript game engine I made once.. it's still missing some features, such as music, and it is just a library for now.. Eventually I'd have to make some tools to make it a bit easier to use..
But it is usable as it is.. You just gotta jump between files a lot.. An external editor is probably a must.. Sorry about that.. I just like to keep things modular.. ๐งฉ
Another thing you might have to get used to is the theatrical terminology I've used to categorize the different assets and code files, like scenes, stages, roles, costumes and actors..
I should probably make a tutorial at some point.. Until then, you can take a look at my examples in world:poeticandroid/games/
